Mapleton Pioneer Day Celebration
Beginning in 2006, the City of Mapleton has produced one of Utah’s largest 24th of July celebrations. The celebration starts early with a 5k and other activities. There is a parade mid-day.
Everyone gathers at the Ira Allan Park for the evening entertainment. The kids can participate in a helicopter ping pong ball drop. Prizes are given to those lucky kids that catch the prize ping pong balls. Then the concert in the park begins. Please go to the City of Mapleton webpage for a detailed list of events http://www.mapleton.org/.
The park is a great place to see the firework display. Firestorm Pyro sponsors in part the fireworks display and this is a show you don’t want to miss. We choreograph every shot to create a musical pyromania of sparking color, fire, sound and light. The result is a sky symphony that will leave you week in the knees.
Payson Onion Days, Utah
Over Labor Day weekend the City of Payson celebrates Golden Onion Days. This year the event opens on August 30th and closes September 2nd. Firestorm is preparing to fill the sky with dancing fire, sound and light on Friday the 30th. The City has moved the firework display to the Payson High School practice field. The best place to view the fireworks will be in the football stadium. The fireworks are choreographed to music and shot by computer. The music will be broadcast in the football stadium. More information can be found on the Payson City web page.
